Join us on Thursday, February 16 for an evening featuring Lynn Osterman, UEL Executive Director, and a panel of female UEL researchers who will share how they are turning their research ideas into marketable products. They will share their personal journeys and what it takes to create a successful company. University Enterprise Laboratories – fondly referred to as “UEL” – is a collaborative research center. UEL promotes advances in biology and biotechnology and creates jobs in Minnesota by providing lab and office space to early-stage bioscience companies.
Also at this event, tour ARCS Avenue of Innovation to meet our University of Minnesota Scholars and learn about their cutting-edge research. ARCS Foundation supports innovation in the U.S. by providing scholar awards to high-potential graduate students in science and technology. Your participation in this event will help build the base for our next extraordinary scholar! ARCS Minnesota Video 2016

UEL’s vision is to facilitate the growth of Minnesota’s next generation of fortune 500 bioscience companies. It is a non-profit 501c-3 organization established to provide and manage a facility to support early-stage life science companies with wet and dry labs, office space and supportive programming. The UEL building sits almost exactly on the border between Minneapolis and Saint Paul, convenient to tenant companies seeking quality relationships with individual researchers, departments and research facilities across the University of Minnesota and many other of the region’s quality colleges and universities, as well.
