University of Illinois’ Rachel Whitaker, Professor of Microbiology and an Institute for Genomic Biology (IGB) Team Leader, will speak to us about Infection Genomics for One Health. She has won numerous teaching awards and is one of the many amazing researchers at the Institute for Genomic Biology.
The event will take place on Tuesday, October 30th at Champaign Country Club (1211 S Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61820), from 4-6 pm. It will follow the format of our “Four at Four, Fun at Five” event of last June, except this time we have one speaker.
The cost to attend is $20 per person, which covers drinks and appetizers following the presentation.
